PressbooksEDU Guide for ERAU

Welcome to the PressbooksEDU guide for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University! 

PressbooksEDU is a web-based authoring and editing platform to create Open Textbooks and other Open Educational Resources (OER). This guide is designed to outline the basic information about and capabilities of the platform. It provides basic information about many different aspects of Pressbooks, and information that is specific to ERAU.

Each page includes an Additional Resources box that provides more in-depth guidance on each topic. The additional resources in this box are general resources that go more in-depth than this guide is able to.

If you are unable to find the information you need, have an additional resource to recommend, or have a suggestion for a new topic in the guide, please contact commons@erau.edu.

Note: We are in the process of establishing the new ERAU Pressbooks server. Some examples or features may be changed or updated as we switch to the updated platform.

Policies and Procedures

This guide focuses on information to help you get started using Pressbooks for your project. This includes some information on policies and procedures, but is not the main goal of this guide. Anyone using the Eagle Pubs network is encouraged to review the full policy document.
