Department Procedures

  1. Student announces dissertation defense with GS-8 form.
  2. The department schedules the defense.
  3. Student defends dissertation and makes any requested changes to the manuscript.
  4. Committee signs GS-9 form
  5. Student uploads the manuscript and GS9-form to scholarly commons.
  6. Faculty electronically “re-sign” within Scholarly Commons.
