Cuttlefish Data

ERAU Data Commons is a research data management tool, available to the whole university and managed by the Scholarly Communication Department of the Hunt and Hazy Libraries.  Data Commons gives ERAU researchers a place to collect, manage, curate, share, preserve, and publish their research-supporting data and the research output of the university.   

Data Commons offers the following resources:

  • Dataset storage and Project workspace to share data with research team.
  • Up to 1.65TB of storage per research dataset.
  • A collaboration workspace where Principal Investigators can invite researchers to help manage and curate data.
  • Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for all datasets to increase discoverability.
  • Meets FAIR data standards

    • Reuse of digital assets.
  • Dataset versioning for a record of ownership and origin, including a comparison tool to quickly distinguish differences between versions.
