Borrow Materials

Not all materials from the Hunt Library are available for borrowing. See collection locations in table below to determine which materials are available for borrowing or library use only:

Daytona Beach Campus students may check out items from the Hunt Library by presenting a valid EagleCard at the Circulation Desk.

Worldwide Campus students may check out items from the Hunt Library and have them shipped for free by filling out the Book Request Form or using the Book Checkout or Chapter Request form found in an EagleSearch item record. For students living within the U.S. a return shipping label will be provided in the box.

Renew Materials

Materials may be renewed if there are no holds or recalls placed on the items. In order for us to provide you with the most efficient service, renewal requests must be made by email at library@erau.edu, not by phone call.

Request Materials

Scan & Deliver

For materials found in one of the Library Use Only collections (i.e., Reference; Reserves; Special Collections; Aircraft Manuals; or Periodicals) requests can be made to have print journal articles, book chapters and other documents scanned and sent to your email.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

For materials not owned by the Hunt Library, requests can be made through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) to borrow materials from another library for free. Please note Worldwide students are unable to request books via ILL due to the time constraints between lending libraries, the Hunt Library, and you.

Scholarly Commons is an open access digital repository of the intellectual output produced by the faculty, students and staff of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. By collecting and preserving the University community’s research in a single location, Scholarly Commons provides a digital showcase for campus publications, archival materials, library special collections and other University-related creative works not published elsewhere.
