Credo Reference

Reference books including encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesauri, etc., covering art, history, law, psychology, science and technology.
- To create a shareable link to a document, click the Share button, then click the Copy Link button, and use the Create Proxy Links tool to create an authenticated link.

In the Credo search box, type in the name of a mathematician and click on the search button.
Click on the name of the mathematician under "Topic Page" for a good biographical listing.
For more information choose the sources under "Reference Entries."

Gale eBooks

Specialized reference sources such as almanacs, encyclopedias, and books on a variety of topics.
- To create a shareable link to a document, click the Get Link button.

In the Gale Virtual Reference search box, type in the name of a mathematician and click on the search button.
Choose a listing for your mathematician from the results page.

HathiTrust Digital Library

A digital repository of over 10 million volumes of searchable books, journals, and government documents with more than 3 million available full text online.
- Embry-Riddle is not considered a partner institution of HathiTrust. This may affect access to certain works and download availability.
- Download options become available once you enter into the Full View.
- Downloads may be restricted to one page at a time.

In the HathiTrust search box, type in the name of a mathematician and click on the search button.
On the left hand side of the results, under "Original Format," click on Biography
Depending on the publication you may need to refine the language results to English.
