An annotated bibliography is a list of citations that includes a paragraph length summary or explanation.  This type of bibliography can help students determine the value of the source and how that source could potentially contribute to their own research.

Assignment: review literature on a specific topic related to your course and produce an annotated bibliography of your choice.

Objective: provides students the opportunity to engage with scholarship and synthesize information concisely.
