New user?

All ERAU students, faculty, and staff can activate a free digital subscription to the New York Times.

Before you can access The New York Times, you must create a user account:

1. Go to accessnyt.com.
2. Enter Embry and select Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in the box.
   • If on-campus, use the on-campus link for account setup 
   • If off-campus, use the Go button to sign in with your ERAU Login for account setup.
3. Select your account details.
4. Enter your ERAU email address.
5. Choose Continue.
6. Create a password (we recommend NOT using your ERAU password).
7. Choose Create Account.
8. Choose your status.
9. Choose Sign Up.

You have successfully claimed a Pass when you see the Start Your Access screen, which will display the expiration time and date of your pass. You can now log in to The New York Times at nytimes.com.

Already have a user account?

Use your ERAU email and the password you created for The New York Times to log in.

Renew an Expired Pass

If you have an expired pass:

1. Go to accessnyt.com.
2. Enter Embry and select Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in the box.
3. Click the blue Go button.
4. Enter your ERAU username and password.
5. Click the Already have an account? Log in here » link and log in.
