Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR)
ASPR leads the nation's medical and public health preparedness for, response to, and recovery from disasters and public health emergencies. ASPR constantly scans the horizon to prepare for whatever emergency may come next, whether natural or manmade.

A National public service campaign designed to educate and empower the American people to prepare for, respond to and mitigate emergencies, including natural and man-made disasters. The goal of the campaign is to promote preparedness through public involvement.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
The nation’s leading science-based, data-driven, service organization that protects the public’s health. For more than 70 years, we’ve put science into action to help children stay healthy so they can grow and learn; to help families, businesses, and communities fight disease and stay strong; and to protect the public’s health.
Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR)
A federal public health agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. ATSDR protects communities from harmful health effects related to exposure to natural and man-made hazardous substances. We do this by responding to environmental health emergencies; investigating emerging environmental health threats; conducting research on the health impacts of hazardous waste sites; and building capabilities of and providing actionable guidance to state and local health partners.
Chemical Hazards Emergency Medical Management (CHEM)
Enables first responders, first receivers, other healthcare providers, and planners to plan for, respond to, recover from, and mitigate the effects of mass-casualty incidents involving chemicals.
Radiation Emergency Medical Management (REMM)
Guidance about clinical diagnosis and treatment of radiation injuries during radiological and nuclear emergencies.

IAEM (International Association of Emergency Managers)
A non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting the "Principles of Emergency Management" and representing those professionals whose goals are saving lives and protecting property and the environment during emergencies and disasters.
NEMA (National Emergency Management Association)
A nonpartisan, nonprofit 501(c)(3) association dedicated to enhancing public safety by improving the nation's ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from all emergencies, disasters, and threats to our nation's security. NEMA is the professional association of and for emergency management directors from all 50 states, eight U.S. territories, and the District of Columbia.
DERA
The International Association for Disaster Preparedness and Response, which is also known as DERA, is a professional member association that was created in 1962 with the purpose of giving professionals, volunteers and organizations the platform that they need to stay connected and to network. This is one of the few associations that includes global members and not just members in the United States. The association provides support, gives a platform for members to share their resources, and also gives members a place where they can stay actively involved.

IAEM Scholarship Program
The International Association of Emergency Managers established the IAEM Scholarship Program to nurture, promote and develop disaster preparedness and resilience by furthering the education of students studying the field of emergency management, disaster management or a related program.
Mary Fran Myers Scholarship
The Mary Fran Myers Scholarship recognizes outstanding individuals who share Myers' commitment to disaster research and practice and have the potential to make a lasting contribution to reducing disaster vulnerability.
