Free Online Resources for 2020
The Hunt Library will make every effort to keep your students connected to materials you may have placed on Course Reserves. If you’ve placed materials on Print Reserves in the library and need those digitized to be shared with ERAU students, we may be able to do so under the fair use exemption as defined by U.S. Copyright Law. High demand materials are already being digitized, and they will appear on Scholarly Commons, which can be linked to through Canvas.
To request that print materials be digitized for Scholarly Commons, please contact commons@erau.edu.
Open educational resources - also called OER - are freely available and openly licensed so faculty can adapt and share them widely. This includes videos, online labs, simulations, and other resources to help supplement online learning. Hunt Library can help you find open resources, answer questions about open licenses, and host any OER created by ERAU faculty.
Librarians can provide online instruction for you through Canvas.
If you have any questions about online library instructional services, contact Brittany Deputy, Assistant Director for Research and Worldwide Services.
What research skills will students need in order to be successful in your course? Your librarian can assist you by reviewing course assignments and incorporate scaffolded research and critical thinking skills into your class with Canvas modules, tutorials, research guides, and embedded library instruction content.
