Step 2. Locate Background Information

Use databases that are general and broad or use EAGLEsearch.

Databases

  • Credo has full text of reference books including encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesauri, etc., on a broad range of subjects covering art, history, law, psychology, science, and technology.
  • Gale has complete full text access to specialized reference sources such as almanacs, encyclopedias, and books on a variety of topics.

If you can't find enough information broaden your topic.
