This guide will explain the differences between qualitative and quantitative research and show you how to recognize and find examples of both types.

Search Tips
To search for news articles and other information, enter search terms in the Search the CAPA site box in the upper right corner, then hit the enter key.
Enclose terms in quotation marks to search for exact phrases: "aviation biofuel"
Click News to see current articles from all CAPA publications.
Hover over Analysis to access reports, videos, research publications, and more on various aviation industry topics.
Hover over Data to access fleet data and profiles of aviation-related entities and organizations.
To access older issues of CAPA publications, hover over Welcome, Hunt Library! and select Download Publications.
International airline and airport statistics. After connection, use the menu on the left to access statistics.
Under "Air Carriers" select from Financials, Traffic, TFS, Personnel, Fleet, or OFOD.
Under "Airports" select from Financials or Traffic.
Click on your desired country or countries from the "Available States/Territories" category and then click on the add button to add them to your search.
Continue to add from additional categories as necessary.
Finally, select the years for the data you want and click on Submit.
You can view the data in your browser or select Download to save it as an Excel file.
Click on Log out in the upper right corner of the page when you are finished searching.
Search Tips
On the Basic Search screen, search for company information by company name or stock symbol.
From the Company Details page, use the blue tabs along the top of the page to access various kinds of information, including History, Company Financials, etc.
If your company does not appear on the results list, try searching for it by the holding company name, if applicable.
To locate relevant industry information, search by Primary SIC code or Primary NAICS code.
Use the code lookup to identify SIC/NAICS codes.
The "Country Profile" box in the lower right corner of the main page provides comprehensive economic and statistical information on countries.
For help using and searching in the database, click on Help in the upper right corner of the screen.
