Citation & Research Management Tools

Apps and websites to help organize and cite your research sources.

EndNote

EndNote (formerly EndNote Online) is a web-based citation management program that allows you to import citations from many of the library databases directly into your online account. With EndNote basic you can:

  • Use the free Cite While You Write plug-in, compatible with Microsoft Word, to automatically create in-text citations and bibliographies
  • Work collaboratively with others by sharing your folder of citations
  • Search select databases within EndNote (Note: for access to a wider variety of research, we recommend Embry-Riddle students, faculty, and staff use EagleSearch or the Hunt Library Research Databases for searching)

Embry-Riddle students, faculty, and staff have access to more styles in EndNote through the Hunt Library's Web of Science Database. This product includes all of the features of the free EndNote Basic (a maximum of 50,000 records and 2G of attachments) in addition to all available citation styles.
